No Income Tax in Tennessee

Though a lot has been said about Memphis’ tax rate, the state of Tennessee is actually very tax-friendly.

It ranks 47th out of 50 states in terms  of the average tax burden on citizens.

The state doesn’t have an income tax, but that means that the property tax is our primary tax.
