Four Locations. One Conversations. Our Virtual Town Hall Brings Memphis Together.

July 5, 2010

On June 29, citizens from around Memphis came together in a dynamic, real-time  video conference that united Orange Mound, Whitehaven, Midtown, Cordova, and City Hall.  Cameras and moderators were stationed at each location, directing questions directly to the Mayor’s office.  Memphis’ first-ever Virtual Town Hall was a terrific success, allowing more Memphians from more parts of the city to interact with the administration–and one another–in a truly unprecedented way.

Mayor Wharton and his staff field questions from Virtual Town Hall participants.

Our next Virtual Town Hall, which will focus on new locations and neighborhoods, will be announced soon.  Stay tuned for more details.
