City Surplus Sale This Saturday
If you ever wanted to buy a vehicle that will get you noticed, now’s the time.
The City of Memphis’ General Services and Purchasing Department will hold a surplus sale Saturday, June 4th, at 9 a.m. at 79 S. Flicker. The sale will consist of approximately 325 items, including a huge selection of surplus police and fire vehicles, such as Dodge Chargers, Chevy Impalas, dump trucks, and ambulances.
Turf equipment and tractors previously used at city-owned parks and golf courses will also be sold.
A preview and item inspection period will be held at 79 S. Flicker Friday, June 3rd, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday, June 4th, from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m.
In December 2010, the City held its largest surplus sale to date. This weekend’s sale will be approximately the same size; a full list of items available can be found at http://www.venture-auctions.com/Memphis-Auction—June-4.html
